From the moment I walked in for my initial appointment, everyone, the front desk staff, Dr. Dan, and his PT assistant, were all very friendly. Checking in was a breeze. Dr. Dan did a thorough evaluation, made me feel heard, and addressed all my concerns. Then, the best part, Dr. Dan's expertise in dry needling and all things PT, after my first visit, already started to make a huge difference, that to be honest, I have not received from other PTs; except for maybe one, and that took months to get to where I felt after now, two sessions at Expert Physical Therapy. Thank you!

Very Friendly towards LGBTGIA community. I felt immediately welcomed and valued we you walk in the door. Excellent communication skills from the office. I have been seen in this clinic for almost month twice a week. I was being seen for neck, back, hand, and foot issues stemming from an auto accident. Since coming for physical therapy and being given best practices to complete from home. I’ve went from a pain level of 9-10 now I am around 3-5. Since coming to this practice I’ve learned a lot about being open minded and trusting. I highly recommend this establishment for your health needs.

Everyone is so friendly and efficient. I really enjoy this office and the liveliness and lighthearted energy here. Chareen at the front is always smiling and happy when I walk through the door. She remembers everyone’s name and always makes conversations with myself and other patients that come in, she really takes care in knowing our personal stories and care. Chuck is also amazing and very helpful in explaining things and helping me get stronger slowly. He is patient and kind, very knowledgeable about everything I have inquired about. Dr. Dan is great as well. Always positive and smiling and in a good mood. He has also been very helpful in pain management and explaining things to me so that I understand better and exactly what is happening with my body. I am very pleased with my treatment here and would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for physical therapy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is physical therapy?

Physical Therapy is a medical service that is provided by licensed individuals who are extensively trained in the examination and treatment of physical impairments. Physical therapists will identify impairments and limitations, and provide specific treatments including manual therapy, exercise prescription, pain management techniques, and patient education to regain an individual’s full functional potential.

Why should I seek a physical therapist?

A person should seek the care and advice from a physical therapist when you have been injured or have physical limitations that prevent you from living a pain-free, unlimited lifestyle and obtaining your personal physical goals.

How long will my treatment take?

Most sessions take 45 minutes to an hour and may occur 2-3 times a week depending on the extent of treatment being provided. Total timeframes for reaching discharge depend on multiple factors including the extent of injuries, personal expectations, and patient goals.

What types of conditions do physical therapists treat?

Physical therapists are trained in all areas of medicine and equipped to treat most orthopedic conditions (such as neck pain, back pain, sprain/strain, fractures, etc.), neurological conditions, and general fitness and wellness programs.

Do I need a referral to see a physical therapist?

You do not need a referral to see a physical therapist in Colorado; this is called Direct Access. Even so, many insurance plans require a referral from a medical provider (MD, DO, NP, PA) to be compensated.

How much does physical therapy cost, and is it covered by insurance?

If someone wants to come in without insurance, the cost is $90 for the evaluation and $75 for treatment sessions. Discount package plans are also available. If you are using insurance, a copay may be due at the time of service. Many plans are fully covered; call to get specific details about your insurance plan.

What should I expect during my first appointment?

You will have to complete a medical history with details about your condition to be treated. The physical therapist will conduct a thorough interview and evaluation to determine the best treatment plan and discuss with you your specific goals. It is always smart to wear loose, comfortable clothing to allow full access to a physical movement exam as well.

Are there exercises I can do at home?

Yes – since the actual time attending physical therapy is relatively short, you will be expected to perform exercises, stretches, or specific movements that will complement your treatment and recovery.

How do I know if my physical therapist is qualified?

Physical therapists are licensed through DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies) via the State of Colorado. Completion of educational requirements and passing of a national exam are required to get this state licensing which is available on DORA’s website.

What can I do to prevent future injuries or issues?

A big part of physical therapy is patient education in the prevention of future injuries and ways to manage potential future episodes of the treated condition.

Mission Statement:

To provide the best, latest physical therapy methods to all walks of life in a welcoming, non-judgmental, supportive atmosphere. We strive to help you reach your personal goals and the highest level of function and wellness.
